Mama A. Nii Owoo, Founder, Researcher Tutor Mama is a PhD student in Language & Literacies Education at the University of Toronto where she is researching how teachers’ conceptions and lived experiences shape language policy implementation. She has experience teaching languages across four continents to K-12 students and college level students. Currently, Mama leads the Afroliteracies Foundation (AF). Mama is using Critical Paticipatory Action Research in revitalizing indigenous African languages in education.
