Adesina Ayeni
Adesina Ayeni, our Yoruba lead manages Yobamoodua Cultural Heritage, a platform responsible for reviving and disseminating Yoruba cultural heritage and knowledge through teaching. Báwo ni. I am Adéṣínà, but you can call me Ọmọ Yoòbá and I am your Yorùbá language instructor. For the past eight years, I have been propagating the Yorùbá cultural heritage, teaching students all across the globe. I am a research fellow with the Firebird Foundation For Anthropological Research and I am currently working on the UNESCO Open Education Project in the Yorùbá language. As a journalist, the socialization function of the media is my responsibility. Like Pramukh Swami Maharaj said "if one's mother tongue is forgotten, one's value will also be forgotten", that is to say, "ẹni tí ó bá sọlé nù, s'àpò ìyà kọ́".
